Rodda Paint partners up to Paint the Town Clean

Rodda Paint Co has agreed to distribute the Authentic Home COLOR Painttm line. The Agreement was signed on May 14th by Bill Boone, President & COO of Rodda Paint, Kathy Banak, Founder of Authentic Home and Tom Alexander, President of Authentic Home, Ltd. and is effective immediately.
Marcia L. Dennis, Graffiti Abatement Coordinator with the City of Portland’s Office of Neighborhood Involvement says, “Graffiti vandalism is a problem that hits us all where we live. It damages the livability of our City, both visually and economically. Allowing graffiti to ’stay up’ sends a message that nobody cares, nobody is paying attention. This partnership between the City, Alpha Broadcasting, Rodda Paint AND volunteers from the neighborhoods will send the right message: We do care. We are paying attention. And, we will not allow vandals to determine how Portland looks to the world.”
Lis Weller, marketing manager for Rodda Paint Co said, “We donate, volunteer, and involve ourselves a lot in our surrounding communities, but this program hits us in the heart. Paint is what we are, and to combine that with the City program and the support of another local business just adds to our excitement in bettering our environment.”
Bob Proffitt, President-COO of Alpha Broadcasting stated, “It is our mission to bring live and local news and entertainment to Portland, and to utilize the power of our stations to create awareness and positive change in the community. We are proud to participate in Paint the Town Clean, and inspired to see local companies like Rodda Paint get involved in the community. Having the support of the City enhances the message that “we” can make a difference.” Alpha stations, staff and on air personalities are volunteering for the event.
