Sherwin-Williams Forms Agreement With Choice Hotels To Supply Paints And Coating
CLEVELAND — Sherwin-Williams, North America’s largest supplier of products to the property maintenance and hospitality market, and Choice Hotels, one of the nation’s leading lodging companies, are pleased to announce their preferred supply agreement. Under the agreement, Sherwin-Williams extensive portfolio of paints and coatings are specified to be used in all Choice Hotels brands: Comfort Inn, Comfort Suites, Quality, Sleep Inn, Clarion, Cambria Suites, MainStay Suites, Suburban Extended Stay Hotel, Econo Lodge, and Rodeway Inn, and the Ascend Collection membership program.
The supply agreement connects two industry leaders: Sherwin-Williams in the paints and coatings industry and Choice Hotels in the lodging industry. Sherwin-Williams is a single-source supplier of high-quality paints, stains, masonry coatings and brand-name wall and floor coverings, with a distribution system of more than 3,330 stores and 1,600 representatives available to deliver innovative products, local service and expert advice. Choice Hotels is one of the nation’s largest lodging companies with more than 6,100 franchised hotels across 30 countries. Choice Hotels is renowned for its focus on excellence and customer service.
“This renewed partnership provides a single-source supply solution for Choice Hotels that, in turn, allows property owners to receive the best paints and coatings for their property,” said Mark Henderson, vice president of national accounts for Sherwin-Williams.
Sherwin-Williams National Account programs are designed to help hotel owners and managers maximize efficiencies. Through the program, Sherwin-Williams serves as a single-source partner, offering complete standardization of color and quality–allowing Choice Hotels brands to maintain consistency in their projects from coast to coast. Sherwin-Williams will also work to consolidate orders and directly source products in order to achieve a higher financial return. At the same time, Sherwin-Williams can create product specifications and simplify supplier transitions.
“Our National Account programs aim to simultaneously provide local service and national reach, in order to help companies keep business operations running smoothly and efficiently,” said Henderson. “It’s the combined power of our local stores, district field representatives and National Account services that make that possible.”
